A bedroom is an area which is considered to be extremely important and exclusive, meant for resting comfortably. Therefore, the bedroom must be decorated in a way that the decor infuses relaxation as well as comfort in the inhabitant’s mind. The bedroom must drain the person of all the tiredness and should make the person feel cool and serene.
To ensure such coolness and comfort in the person’s mind, the bedroom must be done up in a cool blue color to inspire tranquility and relaxation in the person. Blue is one of the most ideal colors that can be chosen for a young person’s bedroom as well as an adult’s bedroom.
Having a harmony and balance of shades of blue and the neutral shades like beige, cream and white is a great idea. The color combination of neutral shades and shades of blue looks great as these colors flow into one another with harmony without letting anyone shade or color rule. Having walls colored in light blue, white and cream with similar furnishing is a great idea to transpire calmness and nerve relaxing decor!
You can color one wall in dark blue with beautiful textures and patterns ...
... on it to create drama in the area. The roof as well as the walls beside the dark blue ones can be painted in lighter shades to make the area look balanced. Keep in mind that, wooden floors and gloss laminate furnishing look brilliant with dark colored walls. To ensure a nice and chic…contemporary looking bedroom, you must experiment a little with the furnishing of the room!
Ensure that you do not go overboard with the blue in your bedroom. If you over-express yourself with any color, you may end up creating a negative effect instead of making a positive effect. It is not just the wall colors but also the furnishing options offered by laminate manufacturers that you must take care of to ensure that you do not go overboard! Make sure that you do not over exhaust the color scheme as that may result in disturbed sleep patterns!
Thus, to make sure that your bedroom is a comfortable and welcoming zone, you must choose wisely the corner that you want to splurge upon with blue. You must make sure that rest of the room is balanced with decorative laminate furnishing in subtle and peaceful shades. Do not let your bedroom decor nauseate you or trap you; break the monotony instead to balance colors and create a dreamy bedroom for yourself!
