Have you ever been to an office where the first word that crossed your mind was ‘unorganized’? That is never a good sign. The word ‘unorganized’ should never be associated with an office. Now, in case the office is extra ordinarily cluttered, then you would have no choice but to call it so. But, according to experts of the field, a disorganized or unorganized office is the last thing that anybody wants to come across. It has been revealed by multiple surveys that an average modern man spends more than fifty per cent of his day’s time at the office. This is not necessarily because the concerned man is a workaholic; rather because the requirement is so. The pressure of work is just too much to handle and the work at hand does not show any sign of getting completed unless an employee spends some good amount of overtime on it. Besides, the necessities of life also increase tenfold with each passing day. One has no choice but to work more in order to earn more so that he can fulfill all the needs that life places in front of him.

... employee. But if that office is cluttered beyond belief and displays complete disregard for the word ‘management’, the setting of the office would also affect the employee’s mood. Research has revealed that the atmosphere and setting of the workplace directly influences an employee’s workability. Nobody likes to go to a cramped office everyday where the space seems too small for even breathing properly. And the complete lack of any kind of organization can lead to setbacks and goof ups in work. It would be sad if a business owner had all required resources at work and yet could not meet the deadline or get the job done satisfactorily, just for the sheer lack of organization. It is in order to avoid all these difficulties that an effective Office design is required. However, one has to understand that Office plans require a lot of understanding of facts and proper designing of layout. The Office design is one of the most integral parts of the office layout.


There can be a thousand different Office plans based on the available space, budget, requirements and resources. However, workstations are probably going to be included in each and every one of those. Then again each and every Workstation design depends on all these factors too. Not every office can have the same type of workstations. A designing office will require bigger workstations in order to hold all the items. And at a call center, one would require smaller tables as there is very little work to be done on the desk. The designing firm would have the requirement of lesser but larger tables and the call center would need more but smaller tables. It is always wise to choose a design that has various parts and sections which are all able to work separately. Nowadays, workstations are available with partition screens of sound-proof and vision-proof variety.
