Consumers Increasingly Turning To The Web To Source Clothes

These days, the web is popular among consumers seeking out new evening dresses and occasion wear. After all, by heading online, people can often benefit from a greater level of choice and impressive value for money too.

Indeed, research conducted recently by MyHigh.St highlighted the growing trend for cyber shopping.

It revealed that six in ten consumers no longer consider the high street to be their first port of call for everyday household purchases. Meanwhile, of the 2,000 adults polled, 40 per cent believed they could source better offers by shopping online.

Furthermore, one in six consumers claimed they do not have time to head off on trips to traditional shops and expensive or difficult parking, lack of choice and the inability to visit the shops during the limited opening hours were all cited as reasons to avoid trips to the high street.

Commenting on the findings, a spokesman for MyHigh.St said: “Long working hours and hectic schedules mean that British adults have very little time to conduct their shopping, and so want convenience when they do get around to doing it.

”These days, most people turn to the internet to order everything from food, drinks, clothing and household essentials, rather than nipping down to their local high street or store to stock up.”

By heading online, consumers can ensure they have a broad selection of occasion wear and other items to choose from, meaning they should stand a good chance of finding suitable products. Also, they can conduct their searches at a time and place that suits them.
