The corruption in everywhere and the common persons are getting deprived by the help of their own chosen representatives. The Coalgate scam is the best example presently. The use of minerals and resources for corporate profits are coming to us. Is it for common man? Now you know the answer it is not for the public benefits. In India, mining is not for that majorly. In the country it is full of these and that is causing pain for the native peoples. The world has minerals stored under its soils. The minerals or ores are extracted from the ground by the process which is known as mining. The process of digging the ground has some pros and cons too.

It is obvious that people will do the mining process in order to extract the necessary minerals. There are many useful items in our daily lives and without those items we will not be able to run our lives. The petroleum generated gas, stainless steel, electricity generated from the coals are some of the useful goods which we consume in our daily life. So mining is very necessary considering these points but every time the mining companies should take care of the interest ...
... of the people especially those who live in the mining areas. Often these people face some consequences which are not at all acceptable due to illegal and unethical mining. They are often evicted from their ancestral lands and become homeless. For example the Orissa state is the burning issue. The Niyamgiri hills mining by the Vedanta is ready to make the tribes and the native people homeless. The bauxite mining has been controversial here. The open caste mining will make huge biodiversity loss in the area and the helical rotor pumps will cause more pain when it will take out the toxic and contaminated sub solid fluid items which will destroy the water and soil. At the same time heavy mining leads to the destruction of dense forests and diverse animal lives and leads to natural calamities like landslides, draught or inundation.

The pain and displacement is not new in the India. Orissa tribals also protested the TATA steel project for the same reason. There was police firing on the protester. In Noamundi of the Jharkhand, where TATA project personnel was threatening to a woman activist in iron mining. The mining activity like using of diaphragm pumps has made it most polluted area. The corporate greed is immense and these corporate giants often do not take care of the human lives or the biodiversity system of the jungle area.

If we ask who is the owner of the natural resources? Of course the greedy bodies are not. The natural resources should be used for public of the country not for exporting the other countries to make weapons. The human right violation has been always with the miming project and the world has viewed that. There need total awareness in all level and section of the society to stop these types of project and the public activation is the way to deal with it. These mining procedures should definitely be carried on but in a controlled manner. Also the city dwellers should be careful to avoid the careless consumption of minerals or ores.
