BMW Does It Again With The New Face Lifted 7 Series

BMW has overhauled its flagship 7 series and its best selling model the 730d claims to be the ‘’ the cleanest diesel in the luxury segment’’. It has lower emissions and fuel consumption than ever before. How has BMW gained this efficiency across the 7-series, well the simple answer is that this has been made able due the acclaimed eight-speed automatic gearbox which now comes as standard. The stop-start function in the transmission also improves the efficiency.

BMW didn’t stop here with the fuel efficiency measure; the new BMW includes an electric power steering, brake energy recuperation and the much acclaimed Driving Experience Control Switch. The body control of 7 series is unmatchable and the best in class. BMW has fitted new rubber bearing and dampers to the suspension making the ride on 7 series more comfortable than before. If you select Comfort or Comfort+ from the centre-console switch the ride becomes softer considerably.

BMW is also offering the latest technology in its face lifted 7 series. The BMW Connected Drive Technology offers full voice activation for things like writing SMS text messages or playing audio and video. For rear seat passengers there is a new entertainment package and the standard fit sat-nav is in 3D. It also has four zone climate control. The enhanced comfort and the new features are welcome in the new 7 series but BMW could have differentiated it from its predecessor especially when the new S-class is about to be launched. All models of the new line up are more comfortable than ever and the new technology just enhances its ride and comfort.
