White Teeth Diet - Let's Go!

What goes in your body shows up on your teeth. So whatever bad habits you are doing at the moment which abuses your teeth, now is the right time to slow down and take these tips seriously.
Everybody knows the importance of having strong and clean teeth. The rising cases of oral diseases have been so alarming. Many cosmetic dentistry professionals suggest everyone to undergo regular dental checkups.
Proper brushing
Proper brushing usually takes at least two minutes or at least 120 seconds. Properly brushing your teeth requires you to focus on hard to reach areas and the gum line. To be able to completely monitor the same, use a stopwatch.
What type of toothbrush should you use?
Some dentists in Arizona agree that soft-bristled toothbrushes are best in removing plaque and food debris from teeth. Small headed brushes can be better to reach all areas of the mouth including the back teeth.
Everybody knows the basics so let’s now move on to the “teeth diet” tips!
1. Teeth diet tip number 1 - The habit of smoking, drinking too much red wine and black tea are enough reasons why ...
... pearly white smiles are not showing. So what can you do? Immediately brush your teeth after drinking or eating food that stains teeth. Try to lessen or entirely avoid these habits.
2. Teeth diet tip number 2 - Take at least a cup of tea every day. Tea contains fluoride - a natural source at that. Flavonoids are also found in tea, known to prevent harmful bacteria from sticking to teeth. Flavonoids also block the type of sugar that creates cavities.
3. Teeth diet tip number 3 - Rinse your teeth with alcohol free mouthwash. Alcohol on mouthwash dries your mouth and kills the tissues in it. This may also invite more bacteria inside the mouth. Friendly advice: take a look at the alcohol content of your mouthwash before you buy or use it.
4. Teeth diet tip number 4 - Water. It is one of the best naturally occurring substances here on Earth. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water everyday helps clean your mouth and teeth. It does not only help you have a healthy digestive system, it also helps keep your teeth even whiter.
5. Teeth diet tip number 5 - Chew. Research from the University of Illinois found that cinnamon-flavored chewing gums help reduce bacteria in the mouth. Why? Your gum contains cinnamic aldehyde, the flavoring from the chewing gum which helps to inhibit the growth of cavity causing bacteria.
The benefits of having clean and white teeth helps prevent many problems such as gum diseases. Keeping your teeth healthy and bright prevents bad breath and maintains overall health! Your smile and your teeth's appearance help other people to detect how hygienic you are. During your childhood, moms will always ask you to maintain this kind of habit for your own benefit.
Practice and maintain these helpful tips. Always keep in mind that these tips are just words from people who want to impart their knowledge in taking good care of your teeth and mouth. It is up to you on how you will respond.
