Rajasthan is the Cultural Heritage Hub of India. The state is rich in folk cultural and is often depicted as the symbol of state.

Rajasthan is well known for its folk dance culture. Many tourists from round the world visit Rajasthan to witness its cultural diversity. The songs are uncomplicated and are related to daily life style or Heroic tales of Rajputana Emperors. The Ghoomar dance of Rajasthan, which has originated from Udaipur, is very well recognised at national as well as International level. One can never forget to describe the popular dance form, Kalbeliya. It is a dance form of Kabila’s and originated from Jaisalmer. Among the famous dance forms of Rajasthan, the most prominent are Kathputali, which is a dance through puppet show, Bhopa, Kachhighori.

Rajasthan is also famous for its handicrafts. Blue pottery of Jaipur, Zari embroidery work on clothes and Block printing originated from Rajasthan and are now very well recognised in the world. There are a number of forts and palaces in Rajasthan. These palaces depict the art of different era and empires. Most the havelis or palaces are transformed into Heritage Hotels now. The architectural heritage of Rajasthan includes Jantar Mantar, Chittorgarh Fort, Jaisalmer Palaces and many more. The Dilwara Temple at Mount Abu is dedicated to lord Adinath. The remains of the world’s oldest civilisation Harappa, can be seen at Kalibanga in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan is famous for its colours and this can be seen with the way they celebrate their festivals. The Desert Festival of Rajasthan is celebrated with great pomp and show, Deepawali, Holi and Gangaur pooja are other festivals celebrated in Rajasthan.

Rajasthan is predominantly a Hindu state. Most of the great saints of Indian history are from this region. Baba Ramdev ji, Saint Kabir, Saint Dadu Dayal are the greatest saints of all time.
