Welcome to the last part of our mini lesson on building your network marketing downline on Facebook.

The tips I’ve shared so far will allow you to create a new Facebook group, and start recruiting new members.

Now, we’re going to look at how to actually promote a network marketing program, once you have all the other things in place.

But first, a quick reminder...

The One Thing You Should Setup BEFORE Doing Anything Else

If you’ve been following these posts, you should already have some sort of capture page setup, to send to new Facebook group members and collect their e-mails.

If not, be sure to set one up through any list manage site such as Aweber or Mailchimp.

The list you’re building will be used to send the signup information at a later point.

Marketing To Your Facebook Group Step #1 - Keep The Program Name A Surprise

With your Facebook group, you’re essentially creating a “launch” for the network marketing opportunity you’re promoting.

To generate interest and create excitement, you should keep the actual program a surprise ...
... until you’re ready to reveal it to the group.

Marketing To Your Facebook Group Step #2 - Plan A Webinar To Announce The Program

Once you have the registration date, plan a webinar that announces the opportunity, benefits of joining, and any other relevant information.

You’ll also want to RECORD the webinar, so those who might be unable to attend can watch it.

Marketing To Your Facebook Group Step #3 - Use Facebook Events To Invite Your Group To The Webinar

Once the actual webinar is scheduled, use the built-in Facebook events feature to invite your group members to register in advance.

On top of that, you can also send an e-mail to those who opted in through your capture page.

Doing both will help you reach as many of your group members as possible.

Marketing To Your Facebook Group Step #4 - Send The Application After The Webinar

One important thing to mention here...

First, yes, go ahead and send the invitation link after the webinar is over.

However...

You may want to also create a page for your group members to use while the webinar is running, just in case they have any questions.

Plus, during the webinar is usually when people are the most excited and ready to take action!

Marketing To Your Facebook Group Step #5 - Leave Registration Open For 2 Days

To attract team members that are the most excited and ready to take action, allow only a couple of days for everyone to sign up.

As an added incentive, remind your group that signups are weighted in the order everyone registers.

Bonus Tip: Add Important Documents To The Files Tab

At the top of your Facebook group, right along the menu that has your group name, about, events, and so-on...there is a “files” tab.

Once you click on this, you can either create a new document or add a file you already have.

If you have any promotional materials, marketing reports, or free training for those that join your team, you can add it here.

Final Thoughts

With the info I’ve shared over the last three posts, you now have everything you need to start recruiting a team of excited, motivated members to join your network marketing opportunity.
