Economics For Cfa (level 1)
CFA, Chartered Financial Analyst, is a professional credential offered by CFA institute to investment and financial professionals. Once you complete the program you will be awarded a “CFA charter” and you will become “The CFA charter-holder.” The CFA charter is a qualification for financial analyst and investment professionals.
The CFA charter can be acquired only after clearing all the three levels of CFA. These levels are:
- Level 1- The Level I study program emphasizes tools and inputs, and includes an introduction to asset valuation, financial reporting and analysis, and portfolio management techniques.
- Level 2- study program emphasizes asset valuation, and includes applications of the tools and inputs (including economics, financial reporting and analysis, and quantitative methods) in asset valuation.
- Level 3- study program emphasizes portfolio management, and includes strategies for applying the tools, inputs, and asset valuation models in managing equity, fixed income, and derivative investments for individuals and institutions.
