Starting a work at home MLM business can be an exciting an opportunity for you. You are now positioned to make an income month after month as long as your downline continues with you. Growing a downline can be very hard for some but at the same time can be easier than expected. Try not and fall for the numbers model. It seems to be everyone who talks about MLM mentions getting as many recruits as possible and your business will take off.

Not true. Work at home MLM business is more than just how many people you have in your downline. What would you rather have; 500 members in your downline or 50 members in your downline that will work hard and duplicate your efforts.

I would rather build a team and help them build a team, and their team does the same. MLM is all about duplication. If you are able to get one member in your downline to follow and listen to what has worked for you then your chances of success are that much greater. Why, because they are duplicating what you have done.

... your downline instead of recruiting more members. So why is it that everyone keeps mentioning numbers when they talk about MLM. The only answer I can think of is that they are too scared to actually take the effort of teaching their team to do the same.

Your job is to be a mentor or a leader. When you position yourself as a leader they will come. Build your business with honesty and your income will grow. Too many people are skeptical about joining an MLM opportunity because they have in the past and were misled by false claims and no leadership. When your leader instincts take over your team will start to act and think like a leader.

When you are a leader you must present all aspects of marketing your MLM business. Offline and online tactics should be shared. Working with a budget and providing all necessities to growing a functional everlasting downline must be shown. Some might have more money than others, some might share different skills, so it is your job to accommodate your team in there track to a successful future.

It is time to start worrying about numbers and put your effort towards your team. Without their success you will have no success. So what do you think is important? Think about this for a little bit and start taking action.

Numbers are nothing in a work at home MLM business if you can't duplicate your efforts. Anyone can grow a very powerful and successful MLM team but the only way to do so is by building trust.
