If I say that sending gifts to India will reap you warmth from your relatives and friends, most Indians will consider it a materialistic mentality and will like to disagree with it. Some of them may also feel inclined to make counter-statements denouncing the theory. But I am not the one to come up with the bright idea. Scientific studies have proved the same thing.

It is so because for a human being, you cannot define things in part. While sending gifts to India may cost your pocket, it also goes to show that you actually took care to remember the occasion for the person, made sure to make him/her happy, and most of all, you are still part of a family even if you are miles apart.

Researchers Adam Grant of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and Jane Dutton of The Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan found that giving gifts changes the way we behave towards others. It opens up our hearts and minds and makes us feel more inclined to help others.

One of my favourite aunts always used to say, “If you keep giving gifts to someone, the person is bound to warm up to you sooner ...
... or later.” A great advice to win over a meanie boss in office!

These days, there are India-based gift portals that have finally perfected the system to make timely deliveries of quality products. Since they source the gifts from local vendors and suppliers with good reputation in the market, they even offer free shipping facilities to those who send Gifts to India and offer you a range of products that have the flavor of the region.

Indian gift store with more than 15 years of experience, like Gujaratgifts.com, have category managers who keep a tab on the local trends and preferences and update the items on their list. Many of these cost less than ten dollars!

Flowers, chocolates, boxes of sweets, soft toys, and art packs are some of the most affordable gifts you can send to India. They are also the safest choices when it comes to choosing gifts for someone you don’t know well enough.

Indians usually love roses in flowers; Dairy Milk are their favourite brand of chocolates; and Kaju sweets are still considered the best by traditionally inclined. Kids also love toys and video games.

Use these affordable Gifts to India ideas and see the smile on their faces on Skype!
