As the year progresses into September, things start to warm up down south and everybody starts gearing up for the summer. Spring is the time to be outdoors, getting fresh air and enjoying the warmth and sunshine after a cold winter. When you visit Melbourne around this time of the year, you will get to experience a whole lot of fun and exciting things to do. Melbourne has a rich history that is culturally diverse and even though people had their differences in the past, they are all from Melbourne and that is the way they act, through and through. Melbourne is well known for the big events they run throughout the year and spring time is particularly busy.

Before you get too excited about everything going on over there, you need to make sure that you have somewhere to stay when you get there. Places like grandhotelmelbourne.com.au are perfect for you because they are centrally located and fully serviced for your convenience. That way you never have to worry about going hungry because you have room service available and you can get to any part of the city by hopping ...
... on public transport. Melbourne has a well established transport system that covers every part of the city and when you can’t catch a train somewhere, you still have the trams and buses to take you the rest of the way. This spring you can go through to the Melbourne fashion week, where you can watch a few runway shows, attend fashion workshops and lectures and you can even do a bit of shopping to upgrade your wardrobe if you like. You get to see the latest trends and styles and you also get to take some of it home with you. The Melbourne Film festival is currently running until the end of August and you can get to see some of the best films and tributes that deserve the recognition. The winter exhibit is almost over at the National sports museum, but if you can get there in time, you will get to see commemorations to some of Australia’s sporting greats. If you head further up the coast you get to St Kilda where you usually find a few bars where you can enjoy a few drinks and listening to live bands.

If you are fortunate enough to get there when they have the St Kilda festival, you are in for a serious treat. You can walk through craft markets, do a bit of shopping and even visit the amusement park to ride a rollercoaster.
