I always wanted a specialized Burger joint in Pune as that was the only thing lacking in a well developed Pune city. One day when I was scrolling through the city to my pleasant surprise I saw that something new was coming up. I inquired about it and they said that a new Burger joint is coming up. I was very happy when I heard about it and I further enquired about the name and they said “Burgs”. The name was good but I decided to not get carried away and I decided to do some research on it. They told me that they even have a gourmet burger joint even in Mumbai called Burgs Mumbai. I have a friend Milind who stays in Mumbai and he said that Burgs is the best Burger joint he’s been to.

Finally Burgs Pune opened up and I decided to give it a try and I was quite exited about it. The place was very comfortable and homely. I then saw the menu and it was quite diverse and had a lot of variety. It had 16 burgers, milkshakes (peanut butter and jelly, ...
... and vanilla lavender with marshmallow are two notable flavors) and sides like onion rings and French fries. I honestly did not expect such variety and options. I scrolled the menu and I decided to order The Big Burg. Two tenderloin patties generously layered with classic béarnaise sauce and caramelized shoe string onions. What can I say it was much than I expected and I relished every bit to the end. The quantity was good but it did not affect the quality one bit. I wanted more but this time I decided to go with something veg. Feeling happy about what I had earlier I decided the taste the Asli Indian as it was something which I had never heard about before. It included the potato patty with desi spices, blended with a mix of chilies, mustard and poppy seeds, topped with coriander chutney. I never thought that a veg burger would taste so good and I was hot. Seriously it was much better than I expected and I was in love with it. I am glad that Burgs Pune is here to cater to the needs of the Burger lovers in the city.

I was happy also to know that they have a self service system and that they charge only Rs. 25 for home delivery. It’s a perfect hangout destination too and one can even come in with their family members. For those who haven’t tried it yet, you should definitely give it a shot and I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
