I decided to finally buy a digital SLR. Good luck ... The problem is – it's difficult to decide which camera to choose. There is a huge selection and lots of good cameras out there. First you should decide what type of camera you prefer. Today, there are two leading companies in the field of photography - Canon and Nikon. Which is better? This question cannot be answered. Canon users like the Canon and Nikon users prefer the Nikon. There are photographers who love both. Anyway the competition between these two firms is very close and both are good cameras and parallel in terms of technology and performance. I chose to review some of the leading cameras of Canon - I guess ... I am a Canon users.

By comparing the four leading Canon camera's features, I'll try to find out which one is best.

CANON EOS 60d

CANON EOS 7D

All four cameras are excellent cameras. All of them have the same processor Digit 4, the same sensor, the same picture quality and all four take video in HD quality.

I will move on and compare the other parameters. There are photographer for whom the cost is a crucial consideration. In this case, CANON rebel T2i 550d is an excellent camera with the most affordable price. Starting at 600 $ body only. From $ 700 to the CANON rebel T3i 600d, from 900$ for CANON EOS 60d and from 1200$ for the body of Canon EOS 7D. The gap is more than twice as much between the first camera to the last one. The question is - Is it worth the investment? Is it true that the most expensive camera is the right one? We will continue to look at that.

For a photographer that video shooting is just as important as stills it is certainly better to have a movable screen that rotate to be 160-degree angle. Joint-screen cameras are CANON rebel T3i CANON EOS 600d and Canon EOS 60d. In terms of quality of the video shot there is no difference, the advantage is only about the convenience. Joint screen also can be quite helpful in macro photography and help to prevent bending or lying on the floor, you should adjust the joint screen and shoot in live view.

Photographer who takes many pictures in succession, like news and sports photographers certainly appreciate the high speed feature of the Canon EOS 7D.This camera takes 8 frames per second. CANON EOS 60d camera is not far behind and can take 5.3 frames per second. These two cameras have a battery LP-E6 LITHIUM which has long life and is good for of 700 1000 shots. The other two cameras CANON rebel T2i 550d and 600d CANON rebel T3i shoot at 3.7 frames per second and use a battery type LITHIUM LP-E8 its life span is shorter and is good for approximately 440 images. So a photographer who shoos a lot of pictures and do not want a dead battery just at the wrong moment should take this into account.

CANON EOS 60d and Canon EOS 7D have the added benefit of their screen. It is bigger and brighter and allows viewing even in difficult light as strong sunlight or a dark place. Also in terms of focus they have an advantage. CANON EOS 60d has nine points of focus and can make each of them central. CANON EOS 7D has 19 focus points and each of which can be a center.

Another parameter to consider is the camera body and its weight. Someone who wants a firm, durable and heavy picture that sits comfortably in hand with professional pride would prefer the Canon EOS 7D which is made of magnesium and weighs 945 grams body with battery only - no lens. The CANON EOS 60d which weighs slightly less only 775 grams body with battery only. It is made of aluminum and polycarbonate resin with glass fiber - this camera feels massive in your hand as well. The two other cameras are smaller and lighter the Canon rebel T2i 550d 530 grams, the CANON rebel T3i 600d 570 grams. Both these cameras are made of plastic and stainless steel - the camera feels too plastic and does not feel as professional.

Is the most expensive camera is the best camera? The advantages of the Canon EOS 7D camera are the magnesium body, the 19 points of focus and the shooting speed. Does that justify such a gap in price compared to the CANON EOS 60d camera? I don't think so. Hence, the Canon EOS 7D is not the right camera for me.

After reviewing and comparing the four Canon cameras. I will sum up and say, I choose CANON EOS 60d. This is the right camera for me. It has a lot of advantages over the two other cameras and falls only slightly from the CANON EOS 7D.
