For cricket, sightscreens happen to be one of those requirements. cricket sight screens generally refer to plain white sheets placed on the bowler’s end of the field. They help to prevent unnecessary interruptions for the batsman. Flipping through the pages of history it appears that cricket sightscreens in their initial years represented white sheets fitted within framed structures. However, with time, their design and make has undergone sea changes. Instead of the plain white cloth, newer materials forayed into the scenario. Nowadays, panels made of polymer are used for these items. The panels are placed in successive order within the fixed or movable frame structures.

Coming back to cricket sightscreens, as pointed out already, there have been tremendous changes in their design and make over the years. At times, tournaments are played through the day and much later into the night. These items serve to keep the match going even after sundown. Needless to point out, there is a steady demand for these products in the market today. Nowadays, they are even engraved with the name and logo of the sponsor. The panels are found to rotate automatically after an over to reveal these details. Therefore, their usability today extends to fulfilling advertising requirements as well.
