I ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday from my friend’s bakery store. I was a little sceptical in the beginning, but when i got the delivery, I was amazed to find the way it was wrapped. And think, I did not even open the packet yet. My daughter came in and opened the packet. My whole family was surprised to see the cake. It was competing with a five start hotel’s bakery product. I went to meet the friend later to thank him and was expecting that the counter would be buzzing with customers and he would not have time to talk.

The moment I opened the door, I was again surprised, actually shocked. I didn’t find many people in his bakery to taste his magic cakes and other bakery products. In fact there was something, I felt, that was missing from the store, something which could have lightened the whole store, and would have enhanced his bakery products’ appearance as well.

We sat down and had coffee where I told him about my store vigil, while he was busy making cakes. I explained him about the appearance of his products in the case that he was using. It is important to showcase the eatables especially cakes and pastries in way that they lure customers towards them on their own. And honestly his cakes have the ability to compel the customers to shell money from their pocket for them even without using any other mode of advertisement.

I suggested him to invest a good part of his earning in buying a delicate bakery case to make the presentation impelling. This way the presentation of his cakes will speak for themselves. Once his products have reached the customers’ home, they will come on their own to buy the cakes from his store and I can bet on that.
