Atlanta is nicknamed HOT-lanta for a number of reasons, and most of them are not regarding the actual temperature. Although the southern city can get quite steamy during the summer months of July, August and September, Atlanta's array of high-end offerings from shopping to cultural events and everything in between is what really causes this city to sizzle.
While Buckhead offers some of the most sought after shopping experiences and retail boutiques for one audience, the many restaurants owned by famous R&B artists and music producers--not to mention the likelihood of running into a celebrity--draws a different crowd. And while modern architecture and premier restaurants cater to those wanting to experience the latest trends in upscale dining, others arrive to partake of the historical significance of the city and the vast amount of cultural offerings.
It seems that the city has something for everyone which is why residents of Atlanta are as diverse in personality and dreams as the cities and countries from which they come. Atlanta is highly regarded as a transient city, a city where many reside but no one ...
... is officially from. The truth is that Atlanta retains many generations of families who are natives, although relatives may be transient amongst the many established neighborhoods and suburban communities in the metro area.
Atlanta's real estate market is as diverse as its people, and just like the city, its real estate offerings are hot! The Atlanta area has some of the fastest growing counties in the region. And being one of only a few large cities within a relatively large state, unlike other metropolitan areas, there is room to grow.
Atlanta real estate has been designed to fit the needs of the local community it serves, and whatever your needs, you can find a community to match them. From the young professional looking for a fast paced city life to retirees desiring a golf course community, Atlanta has the real estate market to suit those needs. Tree-lined streets border neighborhoods perfect for children riding bikes and expanding families while environmentally conscious residents choose condensed communities with amenities just a short walk away.
Just as the city's nickname implies, Atlanta is hot; and its real estate offerings support this claim as much as its diverse population, retail offerings and cultural events.
