1953 Gibson SJ 200 Custom Acoustic Guitar:This is such a nice Gibson acoustic guitar.I fell in love with it almost a year before buying it.After I got it, I sent it to the shop because it needed some repairs. The luthiers from Oregon repaired two top cracks and a few side cracks. They did an outstanding job and it doesn't detract from the beauty of this awesome guitar.Gibson Acoustic Guitar for sale: The 1953 Gibson SJ 200 CustomThe guitar sounds as beautiful as it looks. The Jumbo Size body projects crystal clear highs and amazing low end. I have a Vintage Gibson Country Western and this guitar projects slightly above the sound of that guitar. It has a nice, bold and in your face sound.The beautiful Spruce top and Maple Back and sides are incredible as is the custom double pick guard from Gibson. You can tell that this guitar has been played allot over the years, due to the finger wear markings on the back of the neck. Numerous nicks, dings and scratches but again, nothing you would not expect on a 60 year old guitar.It has the original Gold Kluson No-line Tuners ...
... with original Tulip Buttons. They still work perfectly.There was a strap button installed on the lower end of the neck heel. It's not original, but it is very functional. The case is awesome.It has mellowed a bit on the exterior. The Pink California Girl Plush lining is picturesque. All latches and hinges work flawlessly and the original handlestill in tack. The fact that this guitar is a 1953 SJ 200 with a custom double packaged, makes this Gibson acoustic guitar extremely rare, you'll never see another Gibson Acoustic Guitar for sale like it.
