At this time of the year most people in the northern half of the world are enjoying some fun in the sun while everyone in the bottom half is sitting under duvets and with their heaters on all the time, but that is about to change. In the next few months, the trees will start to blossom and the birds will start to sing and that is the best time to be in Melbourne. There is always so much to do over there, and once you have the sunshine on your side you can get to do all of it and more. The city is located on the south side of the continent and the weather is usually fine and fairly dry for most of the year. Summer time usually brings all the rain they need to feed the vineyards in the Dandenong valley, where you will often find row upon row of vines.

The thought of visiting there might have crossed your mind at some point and you may have even gone as far as looking at accommodation. Places like grandhotelmelbourne.com.au are the ideal example of what you want to look for because they cater for everyone and the hotel itself has an air of elegance and style to it ...
... that invariably indicates some kind of quality in your stay. Rooms available in such hotels are often varied in terms of quality and size so that they can accommodate the regular clientele as well as the upper bracket as well. A larger hotel room with extra facilities in there would obviously cost more, but then you have to realise that you are getting what you pay for in those instances and it is actually expected of the hotel if they are going to try and offer a service like that. Once you have your accommodation sorted out, you can get stuck into the spring activities that will be going on. Spring time is usually about cleaning out and getting rid of the old so that we can make way for the new, and so to celebrate that you can go through to one of the many festivals that happen in and around Melbourne, including the famous St Kilda.

You can enjoy a few rides in the amusement park there or take a long walk along the promenade eating ice-creams. If you are a wine lover, then the valley is perfect for spending the day on a wine route, stopping by at the various farms and sampling Australia’s finest wines. If all else fails, you always have the beach to go to.
