The Emirates has come a long way from being a fishing village to a country that boasts numerous career opportunities and has become a haven for job seekers.

Finding a job in the UAE is no longer a problem. UAE job vacancies are replete with some of the finest prospects To begin with, it’s important to know the labor laws in the UAE to search for the most suitable UAE job vacancies. For example the “kafala” system in Dubai allows guest workers to obtain legal entry in the UAE-. This is generally a three years work permit with a hypothetical renewal. A system known as “Emiratization” gives preference to nationals for job vacancies in the UAE. This has an advantage for the host country with a maximum of 51% quota ownership for them. The situation though is different for the Free Zone. Low-skilled workers sadly have to camp outside the city for their lodging purposes. But if you are qualified with a brilliant opportunity at hand, there’s lot to celebrate for an opportunity in the UAE.

Nowadays, UAE job vacancies are not restricted to men alone. Women today have ...
... come up as an integral part of the regional workforce everywhere. And the UAE is no different! As many as six out of ten Arab women choose to be a part of the working class and contribute to the nation’s development.

Several important companies have invested in projects that serve large number of consumers while leveraging the obvious benefits of the laws of the country. So how does one search for the job of one’s choice in the UAE. Perhaps these pointers may help you identify UAE job vacancies:

1) The University of Dubai: The University offers over 400 scholarship programs, all you need to get a head start is to score at least 65% or above in English in your TOEFL exams. A Maths score over 400 will be a plus for applying for a scholarship.

2) Internship: Finding an internship could be tough but thanks to certain online communities, this eases your load. The website also claims to be an updated news forum for all those interested in knowing the details of an internship. Luckily most interns are handsomely paid; a pay check that can last you over a month. There is a cost attached to register on the website to the tune of D199, but once you’ve clinched your opportunity, the sky’s the limit.

3) Recruiters: Generally recruiters are looking for high profiled managers, so if you fit into the category, look-out on job sites like Monstergulf.com. Here you can find career opportunities across a range of industries including the energy, finance, and oil and gas sectors in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Qatar and many other Gulf regions.

4) Websites: Monster.com has begun a ‘Return to Home’ initiative to help job seekers who are looking forward to get back to their roots in the UAE. Many of these like the past years are focused on finding qualified Emirati professionals.

Many a times news related to recruiting and UAE job vacancies can help you open avenues targeting niche areas.

Happy Job Hunting!
