Colleges offer a four years Bachelor of Automobile Engineering course to those interested in gaining expertise in this area. The courses offered in this discipline by the colleges must be approved by the AICTE and the university curriculum must be designed to develop engineers who are analytically strong, modeling, experimental, have designing ability and team working skills.

It should be equipped with CAD designing and programming software and others like PRO-E Wildfire 5, Solid Works, and Master CAM, laboratories and so on for students to pursue their research and project work. An innovative pedagogy with means to gain working experience and industrial visits is required as it enhances the knowledge of the students while preparing to become the best automobile engineers.
