Weeds is an American television series based on the genre of dark comedy and drama. It was created by Jenji Kohan. The executive producers of the show are Jenji Kohan, Craig Zisk, Roberto Benabib, Matthew Salsberg, Mark A. Burley, Scott Ellis and Victoria Morrow. It was produced by Lionsgate Television Tilted Productions Showtime. It aired on Showtime Channel for the first time on August 7, 2005 and its still running on the same channel.
The main characters in the show are Nancy Price Botwin, Judah, Peter Scottson, Esteban Reyes and Andy Botwin was in lead. The others were in reoccurring roles and didn’t appeared regularly in the show. The main story revolves around Nancy Botwin. She is a widow and a mother of two children. She is left all alone after the death of her husband. Her husband died due to the heart attack. As the time passes by, whole family gets into more and more troubles and induldges into illegal activities.
