Raise A Toast With The Finest Wine

Sid and Simran were celebrating their twenty fifth wedding anniversary. They had spent a considerable time together. From their humble beginning in a small Asian country as school teachers they have come a long way. Their marriage had been a love marriage and they both were school teachers in a remote government school.

Sid used to teach English while Simran was the strict mathematics teacher. Sid pursued his PhD and along with his teaching and received his doctorate soon after. Later he was promoted to the post of the headmaster of the school. Simran in the meanwhile, managed the family, taught algebra and trigonometry to senior students as well as wrote poetry. Her poetries were like mathematics, no nonsense and straight forward.

Over time she started getting published, first in the local newspapers and the literature magazines and later in renowned papers. She also got herself published two collections of poetry.

Later they moved to a metro city; Sid got his new teaching job. When Simran got a scholarship from the US they moved to US with their two year old daughter.

Now after so many years, ...
... Simran has created a niche for herself in the literary world, while Sid completed his post doctorate and is a very popular teacher among his students from all over the world.

Sarah, their only daughter is twenty one and a post graduate student in English literature. The journey had been long and arduous yet they together enjoyed every bit of it and never left each other. Over the years they have gathered many beautiful memories that they cherish and they have also won over a group of very cordial and cheery friends. They have been by the side of Sid and Simran whenever they needed the friends most. Sid and Simran too have reciprocated the same. Now that Sid and Simran are completing their silver jubilee everybody around them wants to raise a toast.

The party has been arranged on the terrace of the house. Arrangements have been made for best quality delectable food and drinks.

Sid is very particular about the quality, taste and flavor of the wine. He wants nothing but the best to be served at the party. So he ordered the Pinot Noir and Merlot from his favorite Greek valley wines. There were also Omega Psi phi and Kappa Alpha Psi.

Now he had planned to gift Simran a collection of her favorite author. He also had another plan. When he visited the Greek Valley Wines, which looked like a painting of Van Gogh, he also found out that they can create private label wines. So, Sid consulted the art team there and created private label wines bottle bearing the name of the two of them.

The party went off really great. Simran and Sarah looked awesome in their traditional dresses and Sid wore an expensive beige suit. He looked handsome too with his salt and pepper hair and rim less glasses.

And when it was a time to raise the toast, everybody was surprised. Simran was moved too.

It was a great party with the food, dance and music. And of course the exclusive wines added the flavor of the season.
