I've been doing online telephone psychic readings for over twenty years now. There have been many changes in the industry over that time. But I still like the medium.For one reason, it greatly expands one's client base. Just doing personal, face-to-face readings can be limiting at times. Besides, I LOVE talking! You could call me a 'yakker'. But I also am a good listener, which is key in this profession.

One of these days I really ought to write a book about some of my experiences doing telephone psychic readings. I've had just about everything you can think of - everything from cranks to those in serious trouble. Here are a few antidotes of my more memorable calls.

... readings locally for about 10 years, I thought it might be fun to try out a nationwide audience. Being something of a night-owl back in those days, I often worked late nights. You get the most interesting calls after the bars and pubs close!

One of my favorite calls from those days was this young man from Tennessee. We'll call him 'Bob'. Bob had lost an item and hoped I could find it for him. So, I asked him what item he wanted me to focus on? Bob replied that he had lost a bag of marijuana! Ooo-Kay! This guy was obviously a crank, probably stoned or drunk. So I played along, after all, as the television ads for our service said, we are a form of "adult entertainment".

If Bob wanted to play games and have fun, I was game. So I told him that the bag was in the field where he had thrown it out of his car while being chased by the police. Bob was a good sport, and, as I said, stoned or drunk. He asked me how did I know he had been chased by the police that night? "Well", I replied, "I AM A PSYCHIC!" I went on to tell Bob that the police had found his bag of marijuana and had smoked it all themselves. So, it was long gone! Poor Bob!

Often times when people call telephone psychics for a reading, they feel obligated to test us. I have had many people call and ask me to guess their weight, hair color, etc. One woman, we'll call her Shirley, tested me by first wanting to know how many children she had? For a brief moment, I considered being a smart ass and ask her, "Why? Don't you know?" But I refrained and answered that she had three children. After getting that correct, she asked me what their genders were. "Two boys and a girl," I answered. As if this was some carnival act, she then asked me for their ages? "The boys are 5 and 8 and your daughter is 3 years old." After passing her inquisition satisfactorily, we wound up having a wonderful reading lasting nearly anhour.
