Situated on the banks of the Thames in south-east is London. It is the capital city, political capital, financial capital and tourist capital of the United Kingdom. With its 7 million inhabitants, it is the most populated city of the European Union. Its population is truly multi-ethnic and has a fusion of customs and religions beliefs. It is truly one of the most vibrant cultures in Europe, as well as being one of the most open and modern in the world. This is testified by numerous museums, theatres, concert halls and seats of learning that it has, which are known world wide.
