This is trend is getting common with professionals in their mid career levels. Take the example of certain Ms. Ghosh. Official of the ISB says that there is growth of enrollment, about 25% in executive management courses.

ISB, one of the reputed MBA colleges in Hyderabad offers ‘open enrollment’ courses. These innovative courses are especially designed for top ranked professionals. Executives from any domain can join these courses to upgrade their knowledge. Executive programs are available here are in marketing, finance and sales strategies. The duration of these courses varies and lasts from 1 week to a month and so on.
Another institute, Eruditus also promotes the concept of executive education courses. Many turn to education during an economic slowdown as this is considered a safe bet.
