Something Wicked is an investigation type mission that you receive in Kingsmouth Town from Norma Creed. To start the quest you'll need to go the Kingsmouth Town Hall. This is a moderate difficulty quest that has 5 tiers. Our walkthrough below covers all tiers of the mission and provides coordinate locations, tips and strategies for defeating the mobs and bosses that are involved in Something Wicked. This is a rather interesting and engaging quest. Please note that there ARE spoilers in this mission guide.Tier 1To start Something Wicked you'll need to speak with Norma Creed. The location of this individual is around the coordinates of 360, 107. Once you've started the mission you'll need to head over to the Town Hall in Kingsmouth. Your first task is to get more info on the murders that have occurred. The info can be found by going upstairs to the 2nd floor of the Town Hall.On the 2nd floor you'll find a room that has a bunch of filing cabinets that are glowing yellow. There are tons of them so to make quick work of finding it, it's the one labeled Q3 2002. Find this cabinet and inspect it. Upon doing so you'll find a newspaper ...
... clipping. It reads as follows:KILLER CHARGEDTransient farmhand Larry Checkon has been formally charged with the murders of Kingsmouth girls ****, **** and ****. Townies who had been holding an all-night vigil on Elm gave an emotional response to the announcement this morning. It marks the end of a summer of horror that has gripped our little town for three months, and a state police manhunt making mainland news.Sheriff Bannerman would not make further comment on the case ahead of the state press briefing. She has, however, asked that townies remain calm while justice works its course. We at the Chronicle know many of our readers have questioned the efficiency of the Solomon County Sheriff's Office. But there will be time for those questions in the months following the trial. (source: The Secret World In-Game)This bit leaves you with very little information but does provide a few hints on where you should continue your investigation to find out the real story behind what happened with the murders.Tier 2Find information about the murder case.Based on the information you read in the newspaper clipping your best bet for locating more information is by heading over to the police station. Once you're there you'll need to locate the PC and log on. Select option 2 as your suspect inquiry, Larry Checkon, and read through the information provided on the screen.Tier 3Examine the Cell for More Clues.This is pretty straightforward although it doesn't mention one important aspect. the cell you need to check out is locked. But it is only locked when you are alive. As odd as it is you actually have to die at this part of the Something Wicked mission in order to get into the locked cell. Inside you'll find the ghost of Larry Checkon.You'll notice that ol' Larry is staring at a while with some writing on it. Click on the wall. Once you do you'll see another clue imprinted on the wall to lead you to your next step. It reads:The White Ravens Whisper - Golden Girls Sorrowful Secrets are Never ToldDoesn't make much sense? No worries, you'll find out what it means in the next tier.Tier 4In tier 4 of this TSW mission you'll need to head out of the police station. Perched atop a cop car right outside is a white raven. Follow this raven around. It'll lead you through the area and into hills. Eventually it'll lead you to a small pack of other ravens. This is where the quest gets a bit odd.As weird as it is, if you pass by each of the ravens, you'll hear a unique phrase. They are "For Sorrow, For a Secret, For a Boy, For a Girl, For Joy, For Silver, For Gold". Took us a while to figure this out but what you're supposed to do is basically recreate the saying you found on the cell wall by going by these ravens in a specific sequence. So..Golden = Raven that Says "For Gold"Girls = Raven that Says "For a Girl"Sorrowful = Raven that Says "For Sorrow"Secrets = Raven that Says "For a Secret"And that's the exact order you need to do it in. Once you get down to the last raven and it flies away a new event occurs.Tier 5After you've gotten the last raven to say his piece you'll magically come back to life and the world returns to full color instead of the grainy black and white. But that's not all that happens. In front of you you'll see some pumpkins and all the sudden one transforms and rises into a large Jack-o-Lantern creature.But as soon as you think you're going to have to fight this beast of a pumpkin he takes off. And your screen pops up saying "Goal Completed "Find Jack"". What an odd, odd mission.. but that marks the end.
