Follicular Unit Extraction or FUE Harvesting – This revolutionary method involves removal of individual hair from usually the back of the head under local anesthesia and these micro hair follicles are transplanted into the scalp of the receding hairline of the patient. The scar left is minor which gets heeled up considerably and not even visible after few weeks. Te procedure, thus, gives phenomenal results with little or no visible marks.
After the scalp is treated upon it needs to be kept away from the contact of sunlight for a day or two and the shampooing is generally prescribed after such time to prevent unwanted scabs to accumulate near the transplanted hair. Under the above procedure the results are considerably visible beyond two to three month, the time when new hair starts to bloom and even more after eight to nine months when such hair even starts to thicken. Certain Minor Side Effects
Thinning of hair at the initial stage is common but a temporary phenomenon which gradually starts to fade over after few weeks.
