Bathrooms are important areas. They do not have to be neglected and an optimum amount of time needs to be spent upon their decor and design as well. It is because bathrooms are areas which can offer tremendous solace and peace if they're done up tastefully. Bathroom experience can be a spa-like experience if bathroom area is done-up in an interesting way.
There are a few things that have to be taken care of when it comes to bathroom decorations and design-
Lighting
Lighting is really an important aspect of any area. Bathroom areas, just like other areas have to be very-well lit up. Bright lights would add a touch of brightness and peppiness to the whole space. It doesn't matter whether one is talking about one's personal bathroom or about public bathrooms. Recessed lighting looks brilliant in any kind of bathroom.
To add to the effect of lighting, mirrors can be hung around to reflect the light in the area and enhance its effect dramatically. Also, it must be noted that colorful lights are not a very good idea for a bathroom space as they may make the space look shady and dull. Colorful lights ...
... look better in personal bathrooms any day but remember that colorful lights shouldn't be the only kind of lighting in the space. You need to add yellow and white lights to keep the brightness quotient high. If you wish to use bathroom partitions then you can use different kinds of lights in the whole of the partitioned bathroom space.
Colors and furnishings
A bathroom must be color coordinated. Colors being used in the area should be subtle and interesting. Colors in the bathrooms, be it personal or public, have to be balanced, harmonious yet create a mesmerizing appeal in the area. Color of the fittings, walls, furnishings, window panes, doors, floor etc. has to match and blend in together.
A bathroom must have furnishings that complement the area. The furnishings need to be perfect for the size of the bathroom and should be comfortable enough to be able to fulfill the user requirements. If one is talking about public restrooms, then installing restroom dividers is a good idea. These dividers would make the area look nice and spacious. Use of commercial bathroom partitions is also a very good way to make sure that whatever area is available, it is utilised in the most optimum of ways possible!
