Lake Havasu, the lake is located between California and Arizona, can be found along the Colorado River behind the Parker Dam which was built between 1934 and 1938. The lake is 648,000 acres wide. It has been built primarily as a pumping station for two aqueducts, but later on was known to be a recreational lake where you can go boating and fishing and over 3.5 million people visit a year.

Since Lake Havasu has been known for boating and fishing, a lot of fishing tournaments are held every year, focusing on bass and stripers. Aside from those two main of fishes that you can catch, other big fishes such as black crappie, bluegill, channel catfish, largemouth bass, rainbow trout and striped bass can also be found under this huge lake. Some few sturgeons have also been said to have found in 1967-68 from San Pablo Bay, California. These sturgeons are believed to still exist nowadays and are believed to have been able to live up to five hundred years at twenty feet its maximum length!

London Bridge is the main attraction of the Lake Havasu, which as originally built over the River Thames in London, year 1825. ...
... The bridge was later sold through an auction to Robert McCullock who found Lake Havasu. The reason for the London Bridge auction was a heavy traffic jam that slowly sinks the bridge. Today, the London Bridge connects the city to an island resort with restaurants and a golf course and water sports such as jet skiing competition is held by the International Jet Sport Associations World Finals. The competition rivals Super Bowl in water craft and jet skiing race.

Lake Havasu can be a perfect place for any water sport where you can bring your own watercraft or rent it from the stalls that you will find along the shore. The equipments that you can rent here are speed boats, water ski and jet skiing equipments, sails, kayaks and fishing boats. Aside from the water sports that you will enjoy doing around this lake, live music is also heard even while you're on your boat or doing a water sport.

Besides the exciting water sports found here at Lake Havasu, there are also guided water tours that you can take to go to canyons and historic sites found around the lake such as the flora and fauna. This will be something that will truly make it interesting for you and other visitors of the lake.
