The entire east coast of Australia is well known for perfect waves and beautiful beaches, where people from all over the world flock to each and every summer to experience a bit of Australian sunshine from down under. The coast starts all the way up north, by the Great Barrier Reef and runs all the way down to the south facing coast of Melbourne. A large portion of that coast line is known as the gold coast and is literally a surfer’s paradise. It’s the one place in the world where you will find beach after beach lined with surfers, paddling through the waves in search of that perfect tube. You could spend an entire holiday surfing all the different beaches and you would never get tired of how amazing it is.

The perfect surfing trip requires beach side accommodation in most cases, but anything close by will do. Places like hotelurban.com.au could cater for the perfect holiday, because you can rent a serviced apartment for the duration of your stay and live there as if it were your own home. You could take a few friends with you and you can share the cost of the accommodation ...
... to make it a bit cheaper. Once you have the places booked, you can throw your bags down, put on your wetsuit and head out to the beach. Hotel chains that have branches in various cities are a good way to keep your costs down, because you can make a booking for each place and you would know what to expect when you get there. When you head up north to the reef, make sure you pack your diving gear so that you can get to see what is happening below the waves for a change instead of being on top of them all the time. When you get to the big cities, like Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, you can find a hotel located close to the city centre or at the very least, close to the ocean. That way you never have to travel too far to get to the beach. Once you are done with the surfing for the day, you can head back to the hotel to freshen up and get ready for a night on the town and just having fun with your fellow surfers.

Fortunately, Australia has a well developed transport system in most of the major cities, so when you are bored you can venture out into the city and explore further inland to see what more they have to offer.
