Some Real Facts Regarding Asian Wedding Videography
Asian wedding videography started at a time when taking still photography was doing popular rounds across the world. It was not before 1980’s that wedding photography initiated in Asia. It took the continent and its people by surprise with a few real facts as listed below.
Some Real facts
When the whole concept just started out, video filming stretched out on 8 mm or 16 mm of film sizes. This could record to a length of just 4 minutes. The process was a constant test on patience since the photographer had to change the film or cartridges every now and then. The surprising element was that an 8 mm film could not take the impression of sound, thus turning the moving images into a sheer silent film.
It was only in the 1980s that a popular brand came up with the idea of camcorder and brought about a revolution in the wedding phenomenon. Thought, the west first embraced the technology and made use of it in full grace; gradually the concept penetrated into the far reaches of the east and took Asia in its grip.
Those were the analog type camcorders that used extensive equipment, such as lights and ...
... wires with its focus on the groom and bride for taking pictures. The process was probably quite enduring for the couple, since anyone would feel hot under the intense heat of light.
If you look at a Pakistani wedding video of those early times, you will be surprised to learn about the fact that film making merely focused on documentation and not on artistry. The blurry looking moving images looked a cluster of people moving about in fineries without merely narrating any story at all. If you look from today’s perspective, the videos were undoubtedly boring. However, then it was a major happening thing afforded by the affluent group.
Now, that you know a few facts about Asian wedding videography you must have earned some knowledge about its introduction and style in the early days of 1980s. Though boring now, they were a rage at those times.
