The Lord, being omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent, intervened on Draupadi’s behalf by indefinitely extending the length of her sari. All the shamed courtiers and elders of Dhritarashtra’s court looked on in awe while Lord Krishna lived up to His pledge of offering eternal protection to His sister, Draupadi.
