Anyone who's been to Tel Aviv knows that there is one street you've got to pay a visit to when making a journey to this historical and famous city. Though several parts of the city have something for tourists, no road means more to the heart of Tel Aviv than Rothschild boulevard. Being claimed as the most expensive street in the city, it features tree linings and pedestrian lanes, while given the role of the heart of Tel Aviv's financial district. When paying a visit to Rothschild Boulevard, make sure to pay a visit to the following features to fully enjoy what this single street has to offer.

Independence Hall
Originally called the Dizengoff House, Independence Hall is the site where Israel's Declaration of Independence was signed. The original proclamation was made by the first Israeli Prime Minister, David Ben-Gurion on May 14th, 1948. The museum offers several exhibits involving the celebratory day, and gives tourists full insight into the history of Tel Aviv-Jafa.

Habima Theatre
One of the first Hebrew language theatres, the Habima is considered the national theater of Israel. It employs more than ...
... 200 people to put on shows regularly for those who are paying a visit to Rothschild Boulevard, and received the Israel Prize back in 1958. It was recently renovated in 2010, and houses four large auditoriums, spanning more than 500 square meters of floor space.

The First International Bank Tower
This skyscraper on Rothschild Boulevard is almost the exact center of Tel Aviv. With 32 floors and a height of 132 meters, it's considered Israel's 14th tallest building. The initial plan had the building set to be taller, but the height restricted for the purposes of rebuilding some neighboring low-rise buildings.

The Rothschild Boulevard Hotel
Since the 1930's the Rothschild Boulevard hotel has hosted several celebrities, wealthy financial investors, and political figures, while still being affordable to the average tourists. As one of the first main road hotels in Tel Aviv, the Rothschild hotel offers extravagant suites and rooms, as well as fine dining and a prime location for tourists to fully enjoy their stay in Tel Aviv.
