One of the London theatres you could go to is the Prince Edward Theatre. The Prince Edward Theatre is found on Old Compton Street in the city of Westminster. Similar to many of the other London theatres, this theatre as well dates back to a long time. The theatre opened its doors in the year 1930. Later on in the year 1935, the theatre was converted to a dance and cabaret hall and was renamed London Casino. Seven years later, it was again renamed to the Queensberry All Services Club which served as a club for servicemen. After more years of events and name changes it gained its current name.

From 1901-1952, the theatre was known as His Majesty's Theatre and then gained its current name thanks to Queen Elizabeth II. Again, in the City of Westminster, amongst the other London theatres, you'll find the Aldwych Theatre. The Aldwych theatre is a West End type theatre and was listed Grade II in the year 1971. It is one of the numerous London theatres which can contain more than 1,000 people. The theatre was opened to the public on the 23rd of December 1905. Alike other London theatres, the Aldwych Theatre has experienced many events during its existence. Since the 21st century the theatre has displayed various musical events and comedies among other productions.

Another West End theatre among lots of other London theatres is the Duchess Theatre. It is found near the Aldwych Theatre, so it's as well located in the City of Westminster. The Duchess Theatre opened its doors to the public on the 25th of November, 1929 and is one of the smallest West End London theatres. It can only hold around 479 people on a couple of levels.
