September is near. That means many young freshmen will have to get ready in facing another phase in their lives: their college years. It seems to be exciting and fun but at the same time challenging to know that you will learn some new things not only about your chosen profession, but even with the realities of life.
In United States, one of the cities with seasonal population due to college influences is Ithaca in New York. Ithaca’s population is mainly influenced by three large universities in the area; the Ithaca College, the Tompkins Cortland Community College, and the Cornell University which normally has an average of 20,000 students. This means that during the school year, the population of the city grows as there are a number of students who usually stay and live within the city.
College students in Ithaca have many ways to enjoy while studying in their respective universities. College life in Ithaca is surely exciting and enjoyable. With a place full of interesting people from different parts of the country, great food on a budget, and wonderful entertainment, one will surely never regret having a college life in this wonderful city in upstate New York.
