IBPS recruitment 2013 will be held through a written test in separate forms for officers and clerks. All the nineteen public sector banks of India participate in this recruitment drive with the only exception of the State Bank of India (SBI). IBPS recruitment 2013 results will, hence, be applicable for all the public sector banks except State Bank of India.

Anytime there is a job vacancy any of this public sector banks, it would be published in the paper with the procedure in the form of an advertisement. The results of the IBPS entrance exam would be mandatory to sit for the interview or any other selection procedure, as mentioned in the advertisement.

The applicant, who is striving to achieve success in IBPS 2013, should have the contemporary skills and educational aptitude. IBPS has currently widened its wings to take common written test for Regional Rural Banks also.

The eligibility criteria for IBPS 2013 are the applicant should not be below 20 years of age. He/ she should be an Indian. He/ she should be graduated from an UGC recognized university. He/she should have been a decent academic performer. However, the precise criteria would vary for examination of Officers, Clerks and Specialist Officers.

Once an applicant clears the written test, he/ she can apply in public sector banks that have vacancies and go for a personal round of interview.
