Toshiba certainly has a reason for all that, but what that is , we will tell you in this review. With an Intel
Centrino processor powering this thing, there isn’t much we can say about the power, honestly, you can
do the math on that yourself, but what we can tell you is that it isn’t that powerful at all, in fact it’s old, but the laptop itself is like new, because it comes refurbished from Toshiba themselves with warranty on parts and assurance that everything has been checked and if there was even a sign of anything going wrong, it was replaced there and then, plus you get a year’s warranty too. Apart from getting personalized cd’s and dvd’s you can also sit back knowing that this one is being powered by Windows Vista which is seen to run seamlessly without any lags whatsoever, so power wise it isn’t so bad, to run Windows Vista you know you need at least 1 GB memory, and this one can offer more than that, another thing going in the favor of thislaptop. Apart from all this you will also get a built in webcam, which you can use to chat online with video through Skype or any ...
... other software that you would use, which of course supports cam, so there, you can assure yourself, you have another asset that is well managed nonetheless. Last but not least, how long will this laptop last for you, and that is another thing where you would see the Toshiba Satellite shine, because you get 3 hours at least with a full charge. Once again, power isn’t where the satellite mini sort of goes its own way but as far as practicality and budget is concerned, it couldn’t get any better than this. What we have learned after playing around with this laptop is that it can be used just for people who are into getting minor amounts of work to be done, and office work to be honest. This won’t handle many heavy duty software because its not meant for that and that would be a point well made when you see the price at which it is being offered to you. The second thing what we recommend is that you get another battery with this and the reason is that when you put it to the gills, it really does eat away the battery. So a spare battery does justice. What we can’t complain is about the screen though. The screen is so good that we would forgive it even if it
eats us alive when there is no battery because it is just sensational. The overall quality, and the depth and the superb display options just make it a must have. So wait no more, its very cheap and wouldn’t last long. A perfect present for your loved one.
