Acne is one type of skin disease. It generally affects women in their 20's. and is more common in women when compared to men. About 25 percentages of men have acne problems whereas for women this percentage is higher. About 50 percentage women are affected by acne.

Acne is also common in teenage due to hormonal changes. For some it disappears when they enter adult hood. But for some it continues to be there throughout. Acne is generally caused in face and neck but can also affect the chest and the back.

Early treatment is advised for acne in order to avoid further complications. No one knows the root cause of acne. It can be because of hormonal change, heredity, stress, exposure to harmful chemicals, etc.

There are some people who are affected after drinking milk. Research shows it might have been caused by hormones present in cow milk. People who have low level of vitamin A and vitamin E are also prone to have acne.

By following certain diets, we can reduce the chances of getting acne. The major steps to follow are to reduce sugar and carbohydrates. Fats and oil are the other major cause and it is necessary to reduce it.

Eggs and salad are the foods to avoid in an acne diet. Food items like milk and cheese are to be avoided. Sugar is one major reason and people who follow acne prevention diet should not take sugar.

Acne prevention diet really helps in reducing acne and is advised to follow it regularly. Food we take in have a major impact on our body. It is really good to follow a systematic procedure and avoid oily and junk food.
