Should we not be thankful to Google for creating Android? As a matter of fact, we should be. The search engine company has transferred to us a miraculous operating system that is capable enough to support almost all sorts of computing. Google brought Android in the market with the philosophy of open source and offered it for smartphones and then tabs. It was the time when smartphone was not common device and tab was not even a concept product. Google bequeathed Android for any mobile manufacturer that could customize the OS to run on its specific hardware environment. The company made smartphones commonly available devices.

It soon launched its own application download point dubbed as Android Market, and later as Google Play. Presently, the app store has hundreds of thousands of apps for almost all purposes and downloads for all have reached to billions.

Google’s OS has also transferred limitless opportunities to businesses. Google’s solutions to developing applications are quite different. It does not control over the applications like Apple. It is the benefit of Android application development that you ...
... can go for any sort of ideas. Think it, work on it and implement it. You can create whatever you want, because Android application development offers all solutions. A large number of iPhone programmers have switched to Android application development due to its openness and easiness.

Let’s talk about iOS apps. You build an app and expect that you would be able to publish it on iTunes. But, you must also know that many iOS apps never get released due to Apple’s censorship procedures. This discourages developers and forces them to look at an uncomplicated place to publish their hard work. Developers can also not easily update their apps on iOS. Updates take days and even weeks to show up at user-end. But, if you choose Android, you need not to have an approval for publishing apps, and updates show up at user-end as soon as you make them. No surprise if Apple’s tough approval procedure has shifted developers’ focus from iOS to Android application development.

Android applications are programmed in Java that is already a popular and easy language. Google has also made available Android SDK that has classes, libraries, code examples and an interface to test the app you working on. Other includes APIs add-on extension that has libraries for numerous web services of Google.

So, Android has things easier than others, yet it can serve complex computing. It can support any idea you think an app can be made for. If you have an idea, develop it to its last limit. Inspirations are available free of cost. So, you need not hesitate to go with them. And then the last result will be up to the marks; the true route to successful Android application development
