Pittsburgh Steelers Tickets
As one of the marquee franchises in the NFL, the Pittsburgh Steelers have a strong following throughout the nation. It is no surprise that Pittsburgh Steelers tickets are hot commodities every football season.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Franchise Overview
Pittsburgh has been an NFL franchise since 1933. While there would ultimately be a great deal of success for the Steelers, it took a few decades for the ingredients to meld together. From 1933-71, Pittsburgh was one of the weakest squads in the league.
The arrival of head coach Chuck Knoll in 1969 marked a turning point for the Steelers. In 1972, Pittsburgh began a run of eight straight playoff appearances.
Bill Cowher succeeded Knoll on the sidelines in 1992. He also had a strong tenure as Pittsburgh's head coach, with 10 playoff trips from 1992-2006.
Current head coach Mike Tomlin has carried on the winning tradition with three postseason years since taking over in 2007.
Quarterback Terry Bradshaw, running back Franco Harris, defensive lineman Joe Greene and linebacker Jack Lambert are just a few of the Hall of Famers from Pittsburgh's glorious ...

Championship Seasons
No franchise has won as many Super Bowls as the Pittsburgh Steelers. The first of six titles came in 1974. In Super Bowl IX, a dynasty began with a 16-6 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
Pittsburgh repeated with another championship in 1975 in a 21-17 Super Bowl X win over the Dallas Cowboys. Three years later, the two clubs faced off in a Super Bowl rematch.
In Super Bowl XIII, the Steelers held off Dallas for a 35-31 triumph. Pittsburgh closed the decade with another title in Super Bowl XIV.
Cowher led the Steelers to an AFC championship in 1995. After losing his first Super Bowl, Cowher guided Pittsburgh to its fifth NFL title in 2005. In 2008, Tomlin directed the Steelers to yet another Super Bowl victory.
Home Stadium
Since 2001, the Pittsburgh Steelers have played at Heinz Field (capacity of 65,050). In a modern environment, Pittsburgh Steelers tickets enable fans to enjoy one of the most iconic teams in the NFL.
