Nissan Sunny Cng-dual Fuel Variant In The Making

Speculations are rife that Nissan India is evaluating options to bring CNG-dual fuel version of its best selling sedan Nissan Sunny. Nissan Sunny sedan is already offered in two engine options in India, the petrol and the diesel version. The petrol version is powered with a 1.5 litre HR15DE petrol engine while the diesel variant is equipped with a 1.5 K9K turbo diesel engine. This question have popped in your mind that if the sedan is present in the diesel version then what is the need of rolling out CNG-dual engines sedan. Along with diesel version CNG version is also becoming popular in India and this could be the reason that Nissan is contemplating launch of a CNG version of Sunny in India. This variant would be placed between the petrol and diesel version of Nissan Sunny sedan.
The CNG-petrol dual fuel variant of the Sunny sedan will be fruitful in driving the sedan on highways as the petrol tank will render the sedan an apt range to run on the Indian highways. The another positive point of the sedan is its commodious boot that can effortlessly accommodate the toroidal CNG tank. Even after accommodating the CNG tank, ...
... the sedan would have ample space to store the luggage. Sunny Sedan would appeal to the customers who are looking for a cost effective option, therefore chances are bright that CNG version could strike a chord with the Indian customers. Nissan Sunny came as a respite for Nissan Motors in India as the company was struggling to lift up its monthly sales. After the introduction of Nissan Sunny sedan in India, the company has seen upsurge in monthly sales that has improved drastically.
Nissan Sunny accounts for a huge chunk of sales in India every month. Nissan Sunny sedan is proffered in five trim level options, out of which three are petrol variants while the other two are diesel trims. Sunny sedan is equipped with safety features like airbags and ABS which comes as standard on the top end versions. Rumours suggest that Nissan India is also testing an automatic version of the petrol engine Sunny sedan. Nissan Sunny will be launching Sunny automatic in India in the next few months.
The major highlight of the sedan is that it is equipped with a very comfortable rear seat which is the best in its segment and offers ample of legroom to the passengers sitting at the back of the sedan. The rear AC placed in the sedan make it comfortable for the passengers to enjoy a long ride.
