In Andhra Pradesh’s southern east region is located Tirupati city in Chittoor district. It lies in the Palkonda hills towards northwest region of Chennai. The land is abode to the God Venkateshwara of the Hindus. He is better known as the Lord of the 7 Hills. Tirumala is the sacred or the holy hill of Tirupati.
