Motorcycles are fun driving mediums with cheap costs, which suit ones economy. Though riding is of pleasure there are some risks involved in it. Some times bad fate can lead to accidents of vehicles. This draw back has lead to a good innovative thought in bikers for protecting their motorbikes from damages. Idea was to go for Motorcycle insurance.

Many people have many inventions in mind for buying a bike; they see the color, size, speed, fuel rate, economy etc. Besides all these things insurance policy provided by a bike is also important.

There are many factors which effect premium of insurance policy.

Factors on which an insurance policy depends are as follows

His age
Value of the bike he purchases
Model of type of bike- cruiser, touring, sport, sport. Touring.
Drivers driving record, his previous claims, accidents etc.
His residence - some times some areas have high crime rates.
Engine size of motorcycle commonly under 500cc, 500-850, 850-1000, 1000 above.
Training provided to rider, whether he is an eligible person who can drive vehicle safely or not.

Most ...
... of the insurance companies feel motorcycles as high-risk vehicles. Cost of an insurance policy may depend on various demanding factors as said above. A costly bike will have high insurance policy where as a low cost bike will have low insurance policy. People residing in areas of high crime rate are provided with policies of high values. Insurance company compulsorily checks out a drivers experience and decides his policy. An inexperienced driver won't be able to drive his vehicle comfortably and causes damage to vehicle and his self.

Old vehicles have different policies when compared to new vehicles. This is because old vehicles are experienced vehicles and involve less risk. New vehicles like sport vehicles have high range policy premiums because of their rate and speed.

Benefits of Insurance Policies are

Liability

A person will be provided with a policy which provides him security during accidental occurrence and gives him comfort of security for his damaged vehicle. This policy does not incur any loss for him.

Passenger Liability

It covers injuries and body harms of passengers.

Uninsured Motorist

If the driver who has done the accident is having no insurance than insurance company claims some money from him to help the victim who was affected.

Medical expenses

Insurance companies also take care of person's medical expenses when an accident occurs. Insurance companies pay all his hospital expenses and medical bills.

Collision Damage

Insurance companies also pay for collision damage caused to vehicles. Some times if the collision is quite high insurance company gives amount for purchasing a new vehicle, other wise it will be providing amount for damaged parts. Motorcycle insurance policies will be more flexible; an older insurance policy always helps in finding good benefits for a person and vehicle. Initially going with a small policy and later changing to a big policy will be a better option for bike riders.
