All About Bosch

Bosch is an international German company which has been running for over 100 years.

In 1886 Robert Bosch opened his first workshop in Stuttgart, Germany, where he began creating a wide range of tools for mechanical and electrical engineering industries. The company was extremely successful, and by 1906 Robert had factories and workshops in the US.

In 1933 Robert decided to begin creating household appliances, and released his first fridge shortly before his death in 1942.

The company continued with Robert's plans to create fantastic household appliances, and by the early 60s, they had released a food processor, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher.

In 1967, the Bosch enterprise decided to join forces with fellow German manufacturers, Siemens. The joint company is ranked today as the world's third largest manufacturer of household appliances.
