Wayanad is well-connected through roads to all the major towns and cities of Kerala and the neighboringstates. At about 75 km away from the district headquarters of Kalpetta lies the nearest international airport and railway station of Kozhikode. Other railway stations near to Wayanad are at Thalassery, Kannur and Mysore.
