Injection moulding is carried out using technical moulding machines and these are complex pieces of equipment. Injection moulding is used for a wide variety of purposes and in many different industries. Plastic resins are made into useful objects through the process of injection moulding and this technique was first developed in the 1930’s and has gone from strength to strength ever since. Many industries now rely heavily on injection moulding and without this technique many everyday items that we use would not be made or would cost much more because they would take much longer to make. There are other manufacturing methods and machines that produce similar results to injection moulding machines but they are more expensive and create more waste.

Injection moulding machines have two main components, the injection unit and a clamp. A mould will be placed into the clamp under pressure and then the injection and cooling process can take place. The plastic is fed into the machine, heated to melting point and then injected into the mould. Pressure is then applied to the mould to ensure all gaps are filled and any colorants ...
... are added. The plastic is then left to cool in the injection moulding device and taken out once fully cooled to give you your finished product. Injection moulding is a very quick, cost effective and efficient way of producing many plastic items.

Once injection moulding has taken place and it comes to packing and shipping your items then you may want to invest in corner protectors to protect your products and ensure no damage occurs during transit. Corner protectors are used a lot in the shipping and transportation of goods and they can also be used for many other purposes. Corner protectors are often placed on sharp or rough surfaces to protect people from harm. Corner protectors are designed to be tough and robust to provide an effective protection solution. They offer a very cost effective solution to protect your products.
