Like in any other business, when looking for a money making opportunity online, there are the reputable companies and then you get the Cowboys. Always do your research before buying.

If an add says make $500 in the next 10 minutes, then you should run a mile! There are many of these about, which involve gambling or sports betting - these don't work!

1. Paid Surveys - Low Paid
In my experience these are a waste of time, as you get paid next to nothing. Before you join they promise loads of money. Once you have joined you get paid $0.50 - $2.00 per survey. Some companies don't even pay you, they enter your name into a lucky draw for a prize. Don't

3. Paid Autosurf Programs - High Risk
Most are a Ponzi or Pyramid scheme (last one in looses). You pay an amount to have your website advertised. Once joined, you must look through about 40 adds (automated). At the end of the term you are given back your money at a high interest rate. There are one or two reputable websites out there. You must just do good investigating before joining.

4. Online Casino/Sports Betting - Very High Risk
There are many ebooks floating around on the web that promise to cure your financial problems by: "milking the casino" or "never loose" betting systems. These don't work! only 1% of people (experienced gamblers) make any money in this game. The rest all loose big time!
If you enjoy this as a game, that's fine! You won't make any money from this - I've tried!

5. Sports Arbitrage Betting
The only sports betting that does work, is arbitrage betting. This involves eg. betting on a tennis game. You place a bet on player A at bookie A. You then get better odds for player B at bookie B. After deducting the looser (player A or B) money, you still make a profit.
This is not easy and you need lots of money to make a profit, but it can be done.

6. Forex Trading
Unfortunately I don't have a clue about this. Many have made loads of money here, but I am sure there are those who have lost too!

7. Ebay
Ebay is one of the most popular sites on the web. A lot of money can be made on Ebay. You need to purchase cheap (wholesale) stock and sell it on , at a profit. This is hard work as you need to keep, package and post stock. Stuff also goes missing in the post.

8. Affiliate Marketing
This is by far the best option, as you don't have to pay to join an affiliate program. You don't need to keep stock or send any items in the post. The only risks are your advertising costs to promote your website or affiliate link.
