What Are Water Fed Pole Systems And What Are They Used For?

Water fed poles are an incredibly clever, yet simply innovation that can be used in the window cleaning business or simply for the cleaning of your own windows.
It used to be the case that in order to clean high level windows, a ladder and some guts would be required. You would need to climb the ladder and use a bucket and normal cleaning apparatus in order to clean the windows. This added an element of danger but was also time consuming as well as requiring extra storage space for ladders and so on. It also meant that some windows were incredibly hard to access, making cleaning troublesome and time consuming.
Ladders are a cause of a great many industrial injuries and for window cleaners this has meant increased insurance premiums as well as an ever present risk to life and limb. With an increasing awareness of health and safety in the workplace, the reach and wash system offers a neat solution to these problems.
However, with the new water fed pole systems, you can now remain firmly on the ground by using an extendable pole that can reach up to some of even the highest and most awkward windows without ...
... even having to look at a window.
Water fed pole systems use water which has been demineralised and turned into what is known as pure water. Pure water is obtained by passing tap water through filters to remove all the impurities. This pure water is pumped through the pole to a brush head and applied to the window. Because water always wants to return to its impure state, when it is applied to a window it will absorb all the dirt particles on the surface leaving it clean and streak free without the need to rinse or leather off. As the pole can reach the upstairs windows, all of the operation is carried out with the operator at ground level.
This allows operatives to easily clean windows of pretty much any level without having to transport and use ladders and making the whole act of window cleaning much safer. Not only this but it allows for a much quicker cleaning process and reduces the time wasted in fetching ladders, arranging ladders and of course travelling up and down them while moving them around to each different window. Now, cleaning windows is quicker, safer and more effective through the use of these new water fed pole systems and they also represent fantastic value for money and are surprisingly affordable to either buy or rent.
