The Indian entertainment scene, as perceived by most Westerners, is not all about snake charmers and firewalkers. If this is the perception you hold, then you are sure to be blown away by the reality of the Indian entertainment and party scene. The Indian lounges, bars, restaurants, gaming zones, cinemas, theatres, beaches, art, and music offer the tourists, as well as the locals, a wide range of entertainment options to choose from. The fact is, that the metropolitan cities in India, like Mumbai and Delhi, will spoil and confuse you with the endless number of possibilities they have to offer. There is a lot to do in these cities. If one is on a vacation to India and wishes to experience the party scene, then it is mandatory to plan a trip to Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore. This is where the fun is.

Mumbai is considered to be the party capital of India. This is where the Indian version of Hollywood, knows as Bollywood, exists. Mumbai is known for its glitz and glamour. When the sun goes down, the city turns into a party lover’s paradise. Several 5-star hotels have bars and lounges that stay open way past midnight. ...
... You can experience the Bollywood music nights at the discothèques at these hotels. The popular JSM restaurants are located in Mumbai and offer tourists familiar food, such as Italian, American and Oriental cuisines.

Bangalore and Delhi are other hotspots, as far as entrainment and fun are concerned. Delhi may not be the safest city for women travellers after sundown, but Bangalore is considered to be safe. If you are in the company of locals, however, then you can venture out and experience the Delhi nightlife as well. Like Mumbai, Delhi has an eclectic mix of lounges, bars, and restaurants.

If you are in the mood for authentic, mouth-watering Indian food, then these cities offer an endless number of options to choose from. The Indian cuisine is known for its diverse dishes that originate from the different states of India. The local street food is also a craze amongst the tourists.

Hence, head to the capital city of Delhi, or to the Bollywood headquarters and financial capital of Mumbai, if you are looking for an exciting vacation in India. The county is, indeed, a globetrotter’s dream come true, as it offers a travel experience like no other.
